The Turkish food at Beyoglu is good. The Mezze platter is fantastic paired with the warm Turkish bread. The Iskendar Kabab is generous in portion and tasty. Plus I highly recommend the Knaffe for dessert. More than the food the quality of service is simply exceptional.
A family-style, homey restaurant — we’re so grateful to the owners for keeping their prices so reasonable over the years. It’s what makes this place feel like a second home. We love the mix grills, shish kebabs, the appetizers, and every now and then we’re lucky enough to catch the liver )) Even though we’ve been to many different Turkish restaurants, this one remains our absolute favorite.
This place has a nice atmosphere. The waitress today is very helpful and gave us good suggestions. Everything we ordered today was fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. I would definitely visit this place again!
It was great. Great go-to place for turkish food. Everything they have is delightful. And they have an awesome liqour called rakeh I may be spelling it wrong, but thats okay! Add ice to it, and it changes colors! Finally asked what filling they use on the cheese rolls!!! I LOVE THE CHEESE ROLLS WITH HONEY. LOVE LOVE LOVE. They would absolutely be my go-to place if parking was easier. The girl that worked with me.... I forgot her name... Runs around like a cheeta, always moving but always attentive. She is so sweet and lovely!!!! My favorite desserts of today was the kanefeh and baklava. Always loved them both. They are home-made desserts. Absolutely Divine. Will be coming by again soon. If I am lucky with parking.
I am as happy as a clam! Very tasty meal for lunch special. Lentil soup, babaganoush and lamb meatballs! Delicious! Best meal I’ve had in a while. Meat was tender and juicy. Super reasonably priced too!
Absolutely delicious! The hummus is smooth and creamy, the lamb melts in your mouth, but the real star of the show is the rice — it’s insanely good. I could eat just that rice for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy. A must-visit for anyone who loves Turkish food!
Had lunch here today with co-workers. They have a lunch special that includes and small salad or soup, appetizer and main. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The eggplant appetizer and yogurt with walnut were my absolute favorites. I ordered the chicken shish. The green pepper was super spicy so be careful. I sliced mine up into small pieces and loved it with my chicken shish. The waitress was very attentive. I have only been to the Papa John's on the block but next time I want to come to this restaurant with my husband.
A group of 4 of us came for lunch. They serve bread to start. They a have a lunch special which includes a soup or salad, plus an appetizer and entree. I ordered the chicken soup which was very good. The hummus as an appetizer, delicious. And the Chicken shish. It came with rice and salad. The service was very good. Our waitress was super nice. The place is clean.
